Post-Smartphone Privacy and Security

The post-smartphone world promises us ... well ... we don't know what exactly. But many
believe it involves us having to synchronize our data arcoss multiple, increasingly confused
devices and also with the cloud, where it may get sold to the highest bidder. This talk
wants to highlight a brighter scenario: a world, where multiple devices and the cloud can
even make our lives more secure and privacy friendly, while still being comfortably to use.
In good christmas EZAG tradition, I will look mostly at the iOS and macOS ecosystem and some
of the lesser known intricacies of its architecture, which may include traces of
microkernels.
