In this non-scientific talk I will give advice about how to prepare and improve Diploma- and Master-thesis work. This is mostly for the benefit of students (who will get better marks) but also indirectly for the benefit of supervisors. In the talk I give some general advice and talk about common problems that students had in the past and how to avoid them.
