Development of the IBM Blue Gene series of supercomputers began with the goal to build a machine that would run at unprecedented scales while being energy-efficient. There are four IBM BlueGene/Q systems in among the worlds Top10 (June 2013) supercomputers. This presentation will provide an overview of the Blue Gene series of supercomputers.
