Thanks Uwe and Christophe for providing a pointer to the PPC
driver.
Does that mean that you are planning to do a port? If so, I could
then try my changes with a sun4m box (SS20, 2CPUs) which has a SBUS
SBA-200e card installed. I just plugged in the card today and this
is what it shows:
% pwd
/proc/openprom/iommu@f,e0000000/sbus@f,e0001000/FORE,sba-200e@3,400000
% ls -l
total 0
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 bcroffset
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 intr
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 macaddrhi4
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 macaddrlo2
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 memoffset
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 memsize
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 model
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 name
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 promversion
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 reg
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 16:40 serialnumber
So that card is there and is recognized by the boot prom. The only
problem is that I know next to nothing about device drivers :-/
I'll take a look at the PPC driver first and will then start
gathering more info about the differences between SBA vs PCA models.
