l4linux-2.6 does not build

Yes, that could very well be the case. Unfortunately I cannot comment on
anything until you become more specific, like providing a transcript of
what you've been doing along with the system you are using (distribution
etc.), or just sending a patch to fix the bug.
In my environment L4Linux just compiles fine.
