why the keyboard can't use?

Hi!all
       I recompiled l4linux-2.6.22 and disabled any dope options,then
started l4linux in console ttyLv0,38400,and the prompt  appeared,but the
keybodard can't using.I have choosed the keyboard options,but the problem is
still,what problem causing that?Everyone know this,please help me!Thanks a
lot!
