About Me

I'm currently working for the Intel Germany Microprocessor Lab.

Previously I was a PhD student in the Operating Systems Group at TU Dresden, working on OS virtualization and security.

From July through September 2008 I worked in the Advanced Operating Systems Group at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY (USA) on Project Kittyhawk.

From May 2004 through March 2005 I was part of the Core Virtualization Research Group at Intel in Hillsboro, OR (USA), where I worked with the VT architects on hardware support and software prototypes for x86 virtualization.

My research interests are in hypervisor- and microkernel design, virtualization, real-time, security, multiprocessors and microarchitecture.
