Currently I'm working on GNU GRUB towards the next release, grub-0.6. My urgent task is LBA support in stage1, the GNU GRUB manual, enchancement of /sbin/grub, *BSD-related bug fixes and incorporation of many patches for GRUB.
Cool. I actually have some stuff that I was looking to do again (for example LBA support... though getting that in the stage1 is an... ah... *interesting* task to say the least).
Could I see what you've been up to?
chosen to ignore this problem. What's your stance on this?
That's difficult to answer. Personally I like BSD license as well as GPL, but the GNU Project might disagree with me. I'll talk with GNU.
I must admit, that at least my original goal is just to have something relatively good that most people use.
