The linux kernel command line says that the filesystem on /dev/hda3 should be used as the root filesystem. Might it be that the driver (IDE controller) for /dev/hda isn't compiled in?
What do u mean IDE controller for /dev/hda isn't compiled in?
You need to enable the ATA driver which is used in your box otherwise Linux cannot use the filesystem which is on the disk connected to that controller. You should also enable the filesystem used on /dev/hda3 so that the filesystem can be used at all.
