Well, I woke up with the realisation that maybe there was a src for debianutils at debian.org- and so there was.. have installed tempfile, all OK now but /slightly embarrassed/
Sorry to bother you all;
No reason to feel sorry for that! We develop (and test) almost only on debian-based systems. Hence, it is unlikely for us finding problems within other environments; so we highly appreciate problem reports.
