Hi, Can someone please explain in a few sentences what the purpose of the cons application (l4/pkg/cons) is? Is it (just) a multiplexer for output? Thanks, Daniel

Can someone please explain in a few sentences what the purpose of the cons application (l4/pkg/cons) is? Is it (just) a multiplexer for output?
It multiplexes both input and output for the text console, much like multiple tabs in your terminal window on Linux. Michael
