First of all, try to use the sound.c file from Linux 2.6.20.19 and see
if it compiles. If not, check the compile errors. If they are in
functions you do not (yet) need, just comment them out. If they are in
functions, you need for your sound driver, fix the compile errors by
adding the necessary functionality.

I guess, you had more specific help in mind, but for this, you might
want to ask more specific questions.
