Problem initailizing pca200e module

Hello all,

I am having a problem with using the linux pca200e driver.

Here is what I did/have:
1) I have linux 2.0.30 running with ATM dist 0.31
2) I downloaded  0.2 FORE PCA-200E driver and the 3.0.2 firmware image 
- pca200e.bin
3) Built the fore driver and put it in /lib/modules/2.0.30/atm
4) After reboot, I try insmod pca200e

It always returns ""Initialization of pca200e failed"

What can be the problem?

The system is not yet connected to the ATM switch. Could this 
be a problem? I have a feeling it shouldn't be.
